Isaiah 30:1 * … and that cover with a covering, but not of
my spirit…
1 John 3:27 … but as that same
anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as
it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I
in you.
(Now THAT’s The COVERING!)
There are many scriptures in the
Old Testament that speak of animal skins used as coverings. So by all understanding, we have Jesus Christ
as our Covering… the Eternal Sacrifice, Lamb of God that has taken away, and is
continuously washing and cleansing us until all our sin and sinful nature is no
more. What a process it is, to be born
again of His Nature, His Spirit.
Jesus Christ was the first fruit,
the first to be birthed forth of the Spirit: all man in that sinful nature, yet
without sin; All God in that glorious nature, and all victorious in
accomplishing the redemptive actions for the rest of us…as our Eternal Covering: the Eternal Sacrifice & Blood which
speaks and declares His Righteousness.
HE is the ONLY COVERING we need
or should ever take upon ourselves…. The
Only Name to walk by…. The Only Spirit to have leading our lives. So as the Lord sets and places each of us in
position within HIS BODY, let us be faithful to follow the leading of the
Spirit of the Lord only, in all our affairs.
Yielding to Him only.
If another tells you thus saith
the Lord, but there is no witness in you to that…. you are not required to
follow.
If you are learning to follow the
Lord and would like help….. ask the Lord
to give you HIS Shepherd/Pastor to help you.
Then when that one (or more) comes in to your life, He/She will be lead
of the Lord’s Spirit in causing you to grow up into Christ, and will know when
to let you go or rather back off to let you learn. Not an easy task for any of God’s true
Shepherds or Pastors, or any of the 5-fold hand ministry spoken of in Ephesians
4:11-13, and 1 Corinthians 12, but it is a necessity in the Body of Christ. And YOU
will have the assurance & peace of the Lord in your heart when that
Shepherd/Hand Ministry Gift(s) is sent to help you in instructing and teaching
you of the Lord, yet it will be by that SAME ANOINTING – SAME SPIRIT OF THE
LORD that will be teaching, governing, instructing, guiding, and/or protecting
you. Now if you are one of the
rebellious ones… then, well, that is another working. Pressing in to the Lord can be unsettling at
times, as the Truth is revealed, which is so different from the traditions of religion. The Lord is Patient and Kind. But His Fire does a perfect work. And sometimes what looks like Hell, is
actually your hell being shaken to release you into the finer things of the
Kingdom of Heaven that is in the Holy Spirit.!
So submit to the Lord, that same
Spirit. Know that HE, the Lord Jesus
Christ, the Spirit of the Father is the only covering you need.
Then wherever you go, no matter
what church gathering place you go to, no matter what name they associate themselves
with, You Are Covered - In and By the Spirit of the Lord, the Lamb of God, and the
Blood that speaks better things than that of Abel. (Hebrews 12:22-29)
