Luke 14:15 And when one of them
that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he
that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
Jesus said I will not drink of
the fruit of this vine until I do it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees,
when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of
God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there!
for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
The Pharisees had within their
minds their understanding of the kingdom of God, but God was about to end one
order and begin another one.
Matthew 13:11-12 He answered and said unto them, Because it is
given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it
is not given. For whosoever hath, to him
shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from
him shall be taken away even that he hath.
They did not understand what
God’s kingdom was about. They had the
keys but did not enter, nor did they allow others to enter. So God removed the first to establish the
second.
Luke 9:27 But I tell you of a
truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they
see the kingdom of God.
Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing
here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in
his kingdom.
Mark 9:1 And he said unto them,
Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall
not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
So all these scriptures clearly
say that there were people back then that were going to see the kingdom of God
come with power… and those people are not here today, so they must have seen
the Kingdom of God come with power back then.
So, the Kingdom of God came.
Luke 22:12-30 (Passover was at
hand) v15-17 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this
Passover with you before I suffer: for I say unto you, I will not any more eat
thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. v17 And he took the cup,
and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: v18 For I
say unto you, I will not drink of the
fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
Mt 26:29 and Mark 14:25 also
say: But I say unto you, I will not
drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new
with you in my Father’s kingdom.
Then after the Lamb went to the
cross and became our Passover for us, He arose and walked on the earth as the
Second Man walking, the Lord from heaven, the quickening Spirit. Then He
appeared to many, did more miracles, and ate and drank with them again, for the
Kingdom had come.
Luke 24:30-31, 35 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with
them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their
eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. and
they told what things were done in the way, and how he was know of them in breaking of bread. Also Luke 24:42-45.
Acts 10:40-41 Him God raised up
the third day, and showed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to
us, who did eat and drink with him after
he rose from the dead.
This was in His Kingdom, for it
was accomplished. (Lk 18:31)
Luke 22:29-30 That ye may eat and
drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes
of Israel.
Luke 14:15 And when one of them
that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he
that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
John 6:21-71 v 56-57 He that
eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live
by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
1 Corinthians 10:16-17 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not
the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the
communion of the body of Christ? For we
being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one
bread.
We are blessed to Eat of the
Lord’s body and drink of His blood as our Passover In to the Kingdom of God.
Amen.
