John 16:19-22
Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto
them, Do ye inquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye
shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
v20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament,
but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall
be turned into joy.
v21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour
is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more
the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
v22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again,
and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
There are a few revealings in this passage of scripture concerning
the coming of God’s Kingdom. Take a look at verse 19. Here Jesus is
saying to them that He was about to go to the cross and would die, but would
rise again without sin and reveal himself to them. Then their sorrow
concerning all His suffering and dying would be turned to joy, for they would
see Him, Jesus, in His Glory and Victory for Himself and for us all: our full
Salvation and Liberty and the New Order of HIS Government and Kingdom reigning
over all nations.
He was also giving them the example of “birthing” and the “pain of
childbirth”, yet we can see, by the Spirit of Truth, that He is speaking of the
“birthing” of the Kingdom of God and the New Priesthood and ruler as King being
birthed and established in heaven and earth under a new law: the law of the
Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.
GRACE through FAITH established. His works are now
sufficient enough for all to benefit of. No more the working of the
flesh to satisfy God: it never could please God. It was ONLY the working
of the Spirit of Christ Jesus in His flesh, that conquered the flesh and moved
it out of the way, so that now we all can reap of HIS VICTORY over All carnal
workings, and rejoice in the establishment of His Kingdom of Righteousness,
Peace, and Joy flowing through His Holy Spirit in His Holy Body that is now
established and still increasing in Heaven and in all the Earth. One Government
over all. One Head and Lord.
So, we know that the birthing that Jesus was speaking of was the
unfolding of God’s wisdom and blessing for the benefit of the world. His Kingdom is now come and established with
better promises and blood covenant, and His government through His Son as Savior,
King, Priest and Lord is actively reigning over all.
In Matthew 19:28 Jesus tells them “in” the “regeneration” the Son
of man will sit in the throne of his glory and that they, the twelve
apostles/disciples, will also sit with him on twelve thrones to judge the
twelve tribes. The word “regeneration” is rebirth.
Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you,
That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall
sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging
the twelve tribes of Israel. And in Luke 22:29-30 speaks of this
also.
So the Kingdom of God HAS come forth and IS established, yet ever
increasing as the Lord is redeeming more and more of His souls.
The Kingdom of God did not and does not come forth by
observation... The kingdom of God is In His Holy Spirit and within His Elect that
have received Him. So wherever the Holy Spirit is there is the Kingdom of
God. And, yes, if you have received the Holy Spirit then, yes, the Kingdom of
God is in you...so that wherever the Lord has you go in the earth, there He
is. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
In Christ Jesus, heaven and earth are brought together, no more
wall of separation. His will now is done in His kingdom that is in heaven
And earth. Yet still, a working of His redemption continues so that more
of Your earth is brought (birthed, pressed) into HIM... transformed. (more can
be talked on this in another message).
Luke 16:16, Luke 17:20-21, and Romans 14:17 explain what and where
the Kingdom of God is.
Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that
time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when
the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom
of God cometh not with observation:
v21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or lo there! for, behold,
the kingdom of God is within you.
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink;
but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
So when you are sealed with that holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians
1:13-14), you have also received God’s Kingdom .... and the journey of your New
Life is only just begun!
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (There
is no lack in the Father’s house.)
Enjoy the journey and explore His Kingdom!
Amen.
