Walking in the Spirit of Christ… and you will not fulfill the
works of the flesh.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall
not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Discerning of yourself as you interact with others and be honest
with yourself: Are you producing the fruit of the Spirit of the Lord or are you
producing the fruit of the carnal, unregenerate mind/spirit?
In Isaiah 61 we see God’s priests were called Ministers of God and
were anointed of God to minister to the people of God and cause them to become
“trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be
glorified.” Now Jesus Christ has and is become our High Priest for
all eternity and is become our Intercessor, in heaven and earth affairs.
So we all are each a branch that has been engrafted into the Tree
of Life. The Root is Christ Jesus, and the one and only God
Almighty, the great I Am That I Am, is the Creator and Husbandman.
John 15:1-5 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that
beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are
clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me,
and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the
vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the
branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him the same bringeth forth much
fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Without Christ Jesus abiding in your soul, you are unable to
produce His Life: in thought, gifts, miracles, healings, love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…and there are
more expressions of His Glory. But with Christ Jesus in you and You
abiding In Him and His Word, then you will automatically produce after His
Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-25)
That is why the world will know that we are the Lord’s by the
fruit that is produced from our lives.
Galatians 5:22-25 But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such
there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the
affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
If you live or rather abide in the Spirit of the Lord and His Word
in you, then also Walk… Produce the Fruit of His Spirit.
Now that you have received His testimony and are sealed with His
Holy Spirit, you by grace through faith can produce after His Spirit… His
Fruit… Character… Divine Nature…
Yet, we all come to Christ Jesus in filthy minded lives that are
in much needed forgiveness and replacing. But there will be an Evident Change
in you as the Holy Spirit takes command and ownership of your mind, spirit and
soul. Even as a babe or child of God, we can be
carnal. Carnal meaning that we will still manifest the works of the
flesh mind for awhile: contentions, strife, bitterness, hatred, jealousies,
envies…to name a few. But there will be a Conviction in our hearts
as the Holy Spirit who is the Lord from Heaven (2 Corinthians 3:16-18) is
cleaning up our spirit, soul and body.
This is why we need to have that DAILY communion with the Lord,
seeking and yielding to the Lord DAILY in our walk… being Sensitive to HIS
working in us… because HE has apprehended you to bring you out of that carnal
mind set and captivity, into the mindset and liberty of the Savior, King and
Priest, the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ.
Romans 1 talks of some of the works of the flesh and how those
having known Him and His power and then choosing to walk after the gods of that
age, He gave them over to a reprobate mind… meaning “rejected” by the
Lord.
Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in
their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things
which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication,
wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters,
inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding,
covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who
knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of
death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Also in Ephesians 5:1-18 corrects those that walk in fornication,
uncleanness (of mind), or covetousness… also foolish talking, jesting,
whoremonger, unclean, covetous/idolater. Saying those that
abide in this mind and produce any of these fruits have no inheritance in the
kingdom of Christ and of God.
It’s not just homosexuality, but all these filthy fruits of the
flesh that keep you out of God’s blessings and bring the wrath and correction
of God on you. So just stop doing them by turning to the Lord,
asking and receiving of His eternal Forgiveness, and submitting to the Lord’s
Spirit and yielding to Him as He works in you to produce His nature and
character of His Son, Jesus Christ, through you.
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which
are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell
you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such
things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
And there are many of scriptures to give examples of the carnal
workings and fruit.
Continue to nourish your relationship with the Lord
daily. Even though you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and
He is abiding in you, there is a need for a daily washing and cleansing in Him,
who is God’s Power, Wisdom and Love for us.
Our example is when Moses delivered them out of Egypt, and they
traveled into the promised land of God’s choosing for them.
He has apprehended you in order for you to be transformed into HIS
image. How? By the washing and cleansing of HIS WORD whom
is Jesus Christ, being manifest/appearing In Your Soul and Mind. (Romans
12:1-2, John 14:20-23 *21,23; 2 Corinthians 5:1-5). That Word is
also your daily nourishment (manna) and cleansing, so you may continue your
journey into the FULLNESS of God. (Ephesians 3:14-21 *19)
Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the
fullness of God.
So continue your journey of being freed and healed from the
effects of sin and death. Sin and death can no longer hurt you or
separate you from God. God’s Righteousness, Jesus Christ is in you,
and is your hope of glory (Colossians 1:26-27). He has secured your
Victory. He has/is become your Righteousness… God’s key to enter in
to His presence/kingdom. So continue to walk from faith to faith, glory
to glory and victory to victory…. You have received the Beginning and End of
your Faith… it is being “opened” unto you, and you are being “awakened” unto
Him as you walk… for He has been with you all this time… (smile) (Luke
24:15-16, 17-31).
If you have His Righteousness abiding in you and you are refusing
to put off and stop doing those works of the flesh, then the Lord will bring
forth His correction to you… Because He has invested In You of His Inheritance,
His Son Jesus Christ, His Seed… and He Will receive His Investment unto
Himself, even by the burning away of the chaff… the removing by the Consuming
Fire that He is (Hebrews 12:1-21,22-29).
Hebrews12:5-11, 29 …despise not thou the chastening of the Lord,
nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: for who the Lord loveth he chasteneth,
and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth
with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But
if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards,
and not sons….but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his
holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness
unto them which are exercised thereby….For our God is a consuming fire.
Under Grace there is correction yet to Produce His Fruit of
Righteousness. So yield willingly, daily seeking, asking and
desiring His Life and Will through you. Continue to allow Him to
clean you and free you from that spirit of disobedience.
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of
God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of the your mind, that ye may prove what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
His Word is spirit and life. John 6:63 tells us: It is
the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak
unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that
believe not… (Jesus said this).
Again in John 15 we read that Jesus said that He has washed them
by the word that is spoken unto them. John 15:3 Now ye are clean
through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Also in Ephesians 5:26-27 That he (Jesus) might sanctify and
cleanse it (church/bride/wife/your soul) with the washing of water by the word.
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish.
HE, Jesus, will and is doing this in you. That is why
He has apprehended you. He has prepared a place for you in himself
and has apprehended you to bring you in to His Kingdom and Place of dwelling in
the Father. OH Hallelujah!!
John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions (dwellings): if
it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto
myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
He’s bringing you, birthing you, delivering you out of your
worldly captivity (Egypt), and bringing you into that place in Him (your
promised land of inheritance)!
So put off the behaviors and communications of that carnal
spirit/mind. Just stop doing it.
If you are truly unable to put it off yourself, then ASK THE LORD
TO HELP YOU. Tell Him you want His mind working in you and through
you… producing HIS SON through you. Hang on though… No matter what
happens, He will bring forth HIS FRUIT in and through you…. And You will be
Changed into His Nature and Character. He will probably send to you
one of His Administrations (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) to perfect you
and work His will in and for you. Ephesians 4:11-13.
Oh…there is so much Glory and Wonderful Experiences to enjoy in
Him!
God wants you to LIVE… and have a more abundant Life… His Life
being Produced Through You!
God wants you to be healed and freed from all that sinful minded,
death minded existence that we all have been a part of due to the first Adam’s
disobedience to God.
Now we have the last Adam’s Obedience to God FOR US… So That We
May Share In HIS LIFE and GLORY (Victory)!
Jesus Christ is God’s Mind and Will manifested in the earth and in
heaven, to redeem all creatures out of the fall of the first man
Adam. Come and Receive Jesus Christ as God’s Gift to you… His
Perfect Son, and our now present King and Priest of Grace and Truth that IS
presently Ruling and Reigning Over All.
He will bring you out of death and into eternal life…Today. HE
will heal you and deliver you. He will establish His Kingdom in you,
and You In His Kingdom, which is Righteousness, Peace and Joy that is In His
Holy Spirit… (Romans 14:17).
AND… He WANTS TO cause you to become One with Him in His Reigning
and Ministering as kings and priests WITH HIM. As said before… We
without HIM can do Nothing… BUT WITH HIM He will bring forth much fruit...
through you… in this world and age…
… unto much Glory and Thanksgiving to the Father. Amen.
So discern yourselves… what are you producing in your walk and
thinking? If it isn’t the fruit of His Holy Spirit then ask the Lord
to change you in this area too. It may just be as simple as you stop
doing it, submit to the Lord’s character in that situation.
That is you working your faith by believing His word that says
that if you submit to God, you are resisting the devil or adversary (carnal
mind/spirit) and it will not have place in you, but has to flee.
James 4:7-8 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil,
and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw night to you…
Let your Faith work… allow the Lord to Daily wash you in His
Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the Son of God to you, not as
religion teaches in its traditions, but as the Holy Spirit makes Him known to
you in truth and grace.
Lay down all you think you know of Christ Jesus, ….Now, I didn’t
say let it go, but rather like laying down a layout of a building (i.e.
building plan, map..) so you can take a look at the whole and see if anything
isn’t right. Then ask the Holy Spirit to remove any lies or
traditions that are keeping you from entering in to His Kingdom. Ask Him to
reveal to you any unforgiveness that needs to be forgiven. Ask Him
to continue to clean you up; and Father let there be an increase of your
anointing and presence in their souls, so that it is no longer them but You
Father, dwelling and working through them in this age.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I
live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me, and the life which
I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.
Trees of Righteousness… His Righteousness Shining Forth… with Him
where He is (John 14:3; John 17:21-26; Hebrews 12:22-29; Ephesians 2:5-8).
