Jesus Christ is God’s way to Him.
Redemption by the blood of Jesus Christ,
the Lamb of God. Jesus said we must be
born again to enter His Kingdom. So the
Way back to the Father is through His Son Jesus Christ. This is the only way to enter heaven and be
with the Father. You must be born from
above.
So how can this be done? Let’s look at a few scriptures about being
born again:
John 1:12-14 But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the
flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 3:3-8 Jesus answered and
said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be
born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and
be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit
is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The
wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst
not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born
of the Spirit.
Hebrews 10:19-22 …by the blood of Jesus, By a new
and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;…
Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith, having our
hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water….
hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;…
And then in Ephesians 5:25-27 Husbands,
love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or
wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
We come back to God by receiving
Jesus Christ as our Savior for the forgiveness of our sin and Reconciled by the
Blood of the Lamb. Having heard the gospel of Jesus Christ preached through the
Holy Spirit, and having received the testimony of Jesus we are sealed by His
Holy Spirit and inhabited by God’s Holy Spirit in our innerman. Sealed… Marked… as the Lord’s forever.
Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Ephesians 1 explains....
v13-14 In whom ye also trusted,
after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation: in whom also after that ye believed,
ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of
promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of
the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
This is the beginning of our
journey out of death and sin, and entering into His life forever.
Having been born of God, by the
power of God which is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ Jesus, we are Sprinkled
by His blood, and our bodies washed with PURE Water. So what is PURE water? Baptism in the river in Jordan? Or could it be something more that Jesus was
speaking of? Let’s look at more
scriptures.
Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me
a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne
of God and of the Lamb.
So this pure water is the water
of life that is God’s Word spoken through the Holy Spirit into our souls. This
Word is Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again,
not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth
and abideth for ever.
And in James 1:18, 21 Of his
own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of
firstfruits of his creatures. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and
superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which
is able to save your souls.
And again in Ephesians 5:25-27 ….
Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify
and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present
it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such
thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
And then in John 15:3 Jesus
states that the disciples are clean through the word that He has spoken unto
them. That word is the Spirit of
Truth, for the truth sanctifies and makes free.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. So by the Holy Spirit speaking in to our
souls the revelation of Jesus Christ is the process of being washed and our
minds regenerated (which means rebirth) by the Holy Spirit working in us as He
writes in our minds and puts in our heart God’s blood covenant of Jesus Christ.
Now we can come to the Father
having been born of His Holy Spirit, and entering through the door who is Jesus
Christ, and now be seated with the Son as coheir of God and all that is the Son’s.
And we are become one with the Lamb of God who lives forevermore.
So after being sealed by the Holy
Spirit, He daily is washing and cleansing us in that living word of God who is
Jesus Christ, as much as we will allow Him to.
We are born again through Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit, and are being
transformed into the same image of that Seed … that Word… who is Jesus Christ,
God’s Son.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a
glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to
glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Titus 3:4-7 But after that the
kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of
righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by
the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on
us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his
grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Let’s look again at Titus
3:5-6 Not by works of righteousness
which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration(rebirth), and renewing of the Holy Ghost v6 Which he
shed on us abundantly through Jesus
Christ our Savior;
There is also the washing of the
water by the word... Ephesians 5:26-27.
The Holy Spirit washes and cleanses every soul He receives and places in
His body.
John 15:3 Jesus says that “ye are
clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” That is why the preaching of God’s word by
His Holy Spirit, from His Administration (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor,
Teacher), is so important (Ephesians 4)...For the perfecting of the saints, for
the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:... This is a necessary function of the
Administration gifts of Jesus in the body of Christ.
Colossians 1:20 And, having
made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto
himself; by him, I say whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
So the washing and being born
again is by the Holy Spirit who is the Lord Jesus Christ, and is God (1 John
5:20).... for HE is BREATHING HIS LIFE IN YOU.... as you hear His voice and the
declaration of your LIBERTY from sin and death and the devil.... you are sealed
in His Holy Spirit and declared His property and inheritance...for His
Inheritance is Christ Jesus, HIS WORD, In you.
John 1:1-4
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning
with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that
was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the
light of men.
And God’s Word will prosper in
whom He has sent it and it will not return void but will accomplish the purpose
it was sent to do…Reconcile you to the Father through the knowledge of His Son
by the Holy Spirit.
God’s Way to make us His family! Born of God.
