The carnal mind is enmity against God. It is not subject to God nor can it be. It must be removed….cut away by the Word of God.
That process begins when you hear the Word of God and faith works in you as the love of God convicts your heart to repent of your sin, and to receive the Redeemer, our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Stronger One that is to rule and reign in your soul, and puts an end to sin and death and the carnal mind from working in you…
Romans 8:6-7 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
V7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
The Devil isn’t the problem because Jesus Christ already destroyed the Devil and the works of the Devil and cast him into the lake of fire…forever. (Hebrews 2:14, 1 John 3:8-9, Rev 20:10,14). But the carnal mind is that rebellious spirit that your unregenerated soul was servant to. But that is already changed for some, and for others it is about to change for the better.
Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil:
1 John 3:8-9 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning, For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
V9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Revelation 20:10, 14 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
V14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
It is the Un-Regenerated minds that have and are causing problems and issues today. Even God’s babes are carnal, the scriptures show us, and experience reveals. There must be a falling away of that rebellious, unregenerated carnal mind/spirit, so that the mind in you is of Christ. He is obedient to the Father in all things and produces the fruit of the Holy Spirit and blessings to manifest in Your Life. That Seed producing after its kind. You will know them by their fruits. Growing up into the head who is Christ Jesus. The Head joined to the body, whom you are a member of. God is putting you in the place He has prepared for you…in His Son.
1 Corinthians 3:1-3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, But as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
v2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
v3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
The Righteousness of the Son Jesus Christ is sufficient to sustain us in His Provision. This is Grace. So Grace works and Jesus’ Righteousness abounds on our behalf throughout our walk, as we press into His Presence and Kingdom.
God is that consuming fire destroying and cutting away all that offends Him…. Out of you. God is redeeming us daily from faith to faith, and glory to glory, and victory to victory. The Blood of the Lamb is speaking on our behalf to sustain us and keep us sanctified before Him. You are pressing in to the Kingdom of God, which is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).
God is cutting away the flesh and carnal mind/spirit by the sword of God: Jesus Christ is that Word.
We are baptized into His death, being raised In His Life and Resurrection: Jesus Christ is making Himself Known to you… and as that is happening, you are changed into the same image (2 Corinthians 3:16-18). He is our guarantee and hope of glory! Christ in You. Hallelujah! Colossians 1:26-27
You will Succeed in God’s plan of His Kingdom’s purpose in heaven and earth and the redeeming of all things in Christ Jesus…
God is redeeming you and cutting away the body of the sins of the flesh (Colossians 2:11, Romans 6:6)
Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:.
Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
God is making manifest His Life In you and through you …. To Become the body of His Son, whom cannot sin, nor is sin nor death in His body anymore. Such Blessings through the Son of God!!!
The Mind of Christ… No longer you but Christ is manifest (Galatians 2:20). You and the Lord are Become One. One Spirit (holy), One Faith, One Mind….
