Calling

There are many scriptures on “calling” but the one the Lord is wanting to touch on today is this one:

2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

2 Peter 1:1-12
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

What things?  Your Faith, Virtue, Knowledge, Temperance, Patience, Godliness, Brotherly Kindness, and Charity.

The Lord Jesus has called us to glory and virtue, that is, to obtain with Him, His glory and virtue as co-heirs.  The divine power of God who is Jesus Christ, has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him.  And it is through this knowledge that Grace and Peace is increased in our lives.

Through these things in Christ Jesus, we are given exceeding great and precious promises, and it is by these that we can partake of the divine nature… sinless nature…holy and righteous nature that is without decay, sickness, and death.  We are purged of the old spirit the devil and nature of the first Adam.  Our bodies belong to the Lord Jesus as well as our spirit and soul.  Therefore, even as Jesus rose from the grave and is without sin and walks in that divine nature, likewise, today, we can walk with the Resurrection, in redemption and resurrection glory.  What a new life it is!  (John 1:22-27)

So what Calling are you called to?  His Life!  The high calling of God in Christ Jesus. His Body. Church of the Firstborn. Kings and Priests of THE KING and PRIEST.  Amen.

10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

So it is possible to fall even when you are God’s called out ones, but Grace sustains you and you can come to the Father through the Son to obtain mercy and grace through the precious blood of the Lamb.  Hebrews 12 shows us that every son God receives, He does chasten and scourges.  But this is correction not to embarrass you or destroy you or to kick you out of the fellowship, but rather to cause you to obtain and manifest more of His holiness.  See below.

Hebrews 12:10-11 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.  Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

So Obedience is the key.  Jesus learned obedience by the things he suffered.  He had “moments” but He overcame them in obedience to the Father.

Hebrews 5:8-9
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

If you are a child of God, but are disobedient… what do you think would happen?  Those who are called of God and have received the Spirit of the Son Jesus into your hearts are sons of God, an heir of God through Christ.

Galatians 4:5-7 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Likewise, give diligence to make your calling and election sure, adding to your faith, virtue, and virtue, knowledge, and knowledge, temperance, and temperance, patience, and patience, godliness, and godliness, brotherly kindness, and brotherly kindness, charity.  Why?

Why?  Read verses 11 – 12 for the answer:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

So that you may abound in fellowship with the Lord, in His kingdom, today.  Present Truth.  Ruling and Reigning with Him in heaven and earth realms.  Jesus Christ is the HEAD. We are His body to function through.  The Father is perfect.  The Son makes us perfect in the Father.

A NEW Life, indeed, victoriously lived.  For in Christ Jesus we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28)

Amen.

He is A Shield

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Jesus Christ is God’s Word that was manifested as a man, a Jew, having been born of a virgin.  The very breath of God made manifest in man.  And He is now come in our souls as our Savior.  He has forgiven us of our sin, and given us so much more.

All the fullness of God is in him while in the earth man.  He was all God and all man.  Then He repaired the breach by sin of the first Adam, and took over command.  Jesus Christ is in charge now.  All that He is affects us and makes us whole.

He is the Way for us to be one with the Father again, without sin, and to live a new life which is His Life.  He is our head and we are His many membered body.

We can trust the Word of God in every situation.

Jesus Christ is Lord over all.  He is King and Priest over all.  He made all things new.  A new law works in our members.  He is the anchor of our soul as we enter in to the presence of the Father.

Peace is here in God’s word.  His blood always speaks righteousness, on our behalf.

Eating of His body and drinking of His blood, allows us to commune through the Son as one with the Father.

Amen.

A Jewel for You

I asked the Lord what the name of the message for today would be, and He said “I have a Jewel for You”.

What does that mean?  It means God wants to clothe us and fill us in the knowledge of His Son.  To cause our lips to speak His knowledge for that word is Spirit and Life.  But He doesn’t want us to be beautified in Him just so to whore around with the religious minds or secular ones.  Or to use knowledge to show off.  But rather to yield only to His Holy Spirit and be about His business as King and Priest in the land, setting others free and washing them in His Word, and bringing them “home” to the place in the Son He prepared for them, in the Father.

Proverbs 20:15
There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

In Ezekiel 16 we see how the Lord took Jerusalem from birth and took care of her and beautified her in his honor and glory, but then she whored around with the other nations and cultures.  The verses below show how God is love and when He loves us, He desires to abundantly honor and beautify us with His presence.

Ezekiel 16:8-14
8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.

11 I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.

12 And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

13 Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.

14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

So, as the Lord prospers you in the knowledge of the Son, and has anointed you and gifted you, remember to use all for His Glory and purpose to Edify the body, His church and habitation.

1 Corinthians 14:12
12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

For those that desire a closer walk with Jesus and the Father, then let your prayer be, as Paul prayed shown in Ephesians 1:17.  Also that you would always be faithful to the Lord God in all things.

Ephesians 1:17-23
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Allow the Lord to clothe you and fill you with His own Glory, for we are His body, and we are to yield to His Holy Spirit only. Being faithful to the Lord God always.  Grace abounding abundantly in the Gift of Righteousness on our behalf.

Amen.

Love and Power Working In You

Hold on to God’s Love, and keep going on. You don’t have to see the full picture right away.  You don’t have to understand “how” to do this or walk this walk. His Grace sustains you and keeps you. And His Holy Spirit will show you and guide you in every step. Just yield daily to Him.

When you are drawn to the Lord Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, and the receiving of Jesus Christ as your Savior and as the Son of God, then you come to Him just as you are in a repentful heart.

John 1:12-14 v12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God,
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

He will fill you with His Presence, the Holy Spirit.  He will guide you in to truth.  He will wash you and guide you in His word that is spirit and life.  He Will Make You Free and Grace will Sustain you.

Jesus Christ is the Power of God for your Salvation.

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation unto every one that believeth: to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

1 Corinthians 1:18,24 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

2 Corinthians 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

As Jesus said of His love and the Father’s for us in John 15:9-10 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

And in Jesus’ prayer to the Father in John 17:24-26 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them they name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Wow.  …. “that the love wherewith thou hast loved me” Jesus… be in you, and Jesus abiding in you!  Secured and Set.   So that the Father loves YOU as much as He loves Jesus!   Now that is awesome!   Hey, think on it… the Father loved your soul so much that He sent His Son to take on your sin and die your death, so that your debt could be forgiven and forgotten and set you free… indeed.  Redemption is Sweet!  Oh Thank you Father and Lord Jesus for such a Salvation!!!

So continue in His Love and Love one another. Follow the leading of His Holy Spirit in you, and He will lead you into all truth and tell you of the Father’s heart.

Amen.

Cheerful Giver with a Heart of Love

God is love so taking care of one another is part of loving one another.  Taking care of yourself is also part of love.  Doing to others as you would have them do to you.  2 Corinthians 9 sums it up:

2 Corinthians 9:6-15
V6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
V7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
V8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
V9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad: he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
V10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
V11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
V12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God:
V13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
V14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
V15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

Also in 1 John 3:11-18 we encourage one another to continue in God’s love toward one another:
V11 for this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
V12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.
V13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
V14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
V15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
V16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
V17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
V18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Amen.

No Condemnation, but God Does Correct To Bring Forth

No Condemnation, but God Does Correct To Bring Forth …

Condemnation is not what Jesus was about.  Yet the religious ones were quick to condemn.

Jesus is about getting you free from sin and death.  Free from condemnation and the devil.  Free from anything that is death, anything that would separate you from God who is love and is eternal life.

Jesus said in John 8:11 to the woman, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Hebrews 12:5-11 v5…My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.  If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.  Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence; shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?  For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

He wants to set you free.  He already made provision for your liberty, for he has accomplished God’s salvation through His Spirit in Christ Jesus.

That same Spirit that brought Jesus up from the dead and the grave of sin is abiding in you to make you free.  Free from the devil, free from the disobedient rebellious spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

Romans 6:5-11  v5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
V6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin,
V7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
V8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
V9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Hallelujah!  That is an awesome working In Us!  The Lamb of God sits upon His throne….In Us.  For He has declared us to be God’s Habitation, His Temple….if it is that you have the Spirit of the Son in you.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Defilement comes from within the heart, not by what you eat or if you eat without washing your hands.

Hebrews 12:13-15  *15 Looking diligently least any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;…

And in Matthew 15:10-11 v10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Then in Matthew 15:17-20 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
V18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart and they defile the man.
V19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
V20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

So the Holy Spirit in you is revealing Truth to you, and that word that is spirit and life, revealed in your soul and mind, begins to wash and cut away the “flesh” from your heart. This process of being born again produces the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Washing of Regeneration and Renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Titus 3:4-6 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to this mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost: Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;….

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

So we continue to allow the Holy Spirit to nourish us in God’s Word of Salvation.  Fellowship in Christ Jesus changes us from the inside out.  He circumcises our hearts so that we cannot defile His temple anymore.

Grace is abundant, and His Righteousness is His gift to cause us to reign with Him in Eternal Life Now.

Romans 5: 17 For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

So today, if you hear the Father’s voice…. Harden not your heart, but rather let it receive His Word that is Spirit and Life, and let Him change your heart and cut away the flesh, and allow His Son to shine through you.

1 Corinthians 6:17-20 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
V18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that comitteth fornication sinneth against his own body.
V19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
V20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Amen.

Lighten Your Load

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

Galatians 4:29-31 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

Born of God, after His Spirit… these are the children of God…. Children of promise.

Lighten your load from religious ceremony, and don’t put it on yourself or others.  Walk in faith of Jesus Christ and have no confidence in the flesh.  Have no confidence in the works of the flesh or religious duties.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Heavy laden means over burden with religious ceremonies.

So learn of the Lord Jesus, and have a relationship with Him. And nurture that relationship, for in doing that, you are having fellowship with the Father too.  For the Son is revealing the Father to us.  And the Father is revealing the Son to us.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For without Christ Jesus we can do nothing.  Yet with Him, all things are possible.

Stand fast in the Liberty that Christ Jesus has provided for us, and be not entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

That does not mean to forsake the assembly together with other saints in the Holy Spirit.  But rather know that it is the works of Jesus that we walk in faith of, and obtain our liberty.

Romans 5 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

We Are God's Property, His Family

In Jeremiah 33:44 it says that men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land…….

Likewise the Lord flashed in my mind Ephesians 1:12-14 and let me know that we are sealed by His Holy Spirit.  We are His habitation and the evidence of that purchase is in the blood covenant upon our heart and mind.

Ephesian 1:12-14  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
V13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
V14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Christ in you is the inheritance of God, having purchased you with such a great price.  The evidence of the Holy Spirit is the earnest, or down-payment, or you could say, is the first manifestation of the New Life of Christ Jesus…God’s Son in us and working through us.  A little at a time we are being transformed, changed, our minds renewed and washed by the Holy Spirit. Little at a time we are pressing into, stepping into the Kingdom of God and finding out what it is like to be a member of God’s Son, as His Body.

We enter in through the veil, which is His flesh that He gave for the life of the world.  We behold the Father through the Son. ! Amen.  No one can come to the Father except through the Son, and only if the Father draws them. Hallelujah! May you hear even more of what the Father is saying here! Amen.

The Father has sealed you by His own Spirit as a witness to all, that you are His Property.  But He takes this beyond just his property…. He adopts you into His family.  Then places you in the position with His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.  A little at a time He reveals His Son to your soul, and as that happens, you are changed into the same image. (2 Corinthians 3:16-18)  Washed in His Word, and cleansed in His Blood, and sanctified by His Holy Spirit.

Titus 3:4-7 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
V5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost:

V6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
V7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

God is our witness and record of this transaction.

Having sealed you by His Holy Spirit, and caused witnesses to this record, by Himself:   Father, Word, and Holy Ghost in heaven, and in the earth is witnessed by the spirit, water, and blood (the man Jesus/Lamb).

1 John 5: (all) v6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
V7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one.
V8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
V9 If receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
V10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
V11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
V12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Galatians 4:5-7 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
V6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
V7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

We have received the Seal of God upon our mind and heart, the Seal that we are become one with His Son Jesus Christ.  This cannot be broken.  This is set.  This cannot change.

God has given us His holy Spirit, the Spirit of His Son…. Jesus Christ.  God’s Family and body (church) of the Firstborn.  Thank you Father God and Big Brother Jesus!

Amen.

Blessing

Luke 2:34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Fall and Rise of many in Israel.

Luke 3:2-3 ….the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
V3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;

V4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straights.

V5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
V6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

V7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

V8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father; for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

V9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

V10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
V11 He answered and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

God’s prophecies were coming forth to clean house.  As the Lord Jesus had said in Matthew 23:33-39 and Matthew 24, that all these things in prophecy were going to come on that generation.  And it did.

Matthew 23:33-39 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
V34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city.
V35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
V36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
V37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often  would I have gathered thy children together, even as a he gathereth her chickens under her wings, and yet would not!
V38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate,
V39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Wow.  Praise the Lord!  Worship God.  God cleaned house then and has made things new. Understanding is needed.  Balance.

Jesus said he would make all things new. And He did and from age to age we see Jesus Ruling from the heavenly throne, Forever.  It is done. A new covenant, new priesthood, new law, new king, and better promises and blessings, and so much more in Christ Jesus.

Revelation 21:1-7 *5-7 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new, And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
V6 And he said unto me, It is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
V7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

We overcome by faith in Christ Jesus, for He overcame all things for us.  Co-heirs with Him.  In Galatians we see that through Jesus Christ we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb so that we may receive the adoption of sons.

Galatians 4:4-7 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
V5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
V6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
V7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

The remnant of Israel are blessed of God through His Son Jesus.  The Gentiles are blessed through His Son Jesus.  The Lord Loved the world so much that He gave His Son for all souls.  Through Jesus Christ we are all blessed.

John 3:16-18  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We have been given such an awesome and perfect Savior and Salvation from God the one and only God, who is the creator of all heavens and earth.

It is not as it was in the old days of Israel, but rather better than those days. … built upon better promises, better covenant.

The Love of God is shining forth and He is calling out those that are to be His tabernacle.  His church which is the Body of Christ.

Ephesians 1:22-23 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

Amen.

Better Things

Today’s blessing begins with these scriptures which the Lord spoke revelation of Jesus Christ and His Body, God’s church.  My heart is full today from the Lord!  It is more than enough and would fill more than just this page.  So to consolidate and summarize is this:

Ezekiel 36:26-28 declares God’s heart for Israel and His protection for Israel from the heathen.  God will sanctify them and make a covenant of peace with them as an everlasting covenant, will place Israel, and multiply them, and will set His sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Here’s verses 27-28:
My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Beautiful, isn’t it?!  Such love of God to them.  All through the old testament there is God’s word and dealings with the chosen people of God.  Yet all through the old testament we see how they broke the covenant God had made with them.  Then we see God restore them over and over again….and again.  Such love.!

Then in all the prophets and psalms we take note as the Lord blesses and corrects the house of Israel.

Yet in the Seed which is Jesus of Nazareth who was all man and is all God, the promises of God are yes and amen.  Jesus said “I make all things new.”  What was He talking about?

A Better Thing…. A New Covenant upon better promises were coming forth… all through the work of the Father in and through His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ and Lamb of God.  The work of God’s salvation for all souls is finished, complete … in Christ Jesus.  Hallelujah! Amen.

Hebrews 8:1-6 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man…..

Note: So a tabernacle in the heavenly realm having come down in the earth, yet it is a heavenly realm dominion.  The Lord built it, not by an earthly means.  By His Spirit is the Kingdom of God come in the earthen realm, yet in Spirit. (Romans 14:17)

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Hebrews 8:4-8
V4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law.
V5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shown to thee in the mount.

V6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Note: Not the old covenant or promises, but the Better Covenant and Better Promises. So why settle for less?

V7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
V8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Note: And so it is Done.

Now here is the new covenant noted in Hebrews 8:9-12
V9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
V10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
V11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
V12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
V13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Now this new Covenant is also for all whom the Lord has called…
Romans 9:23-26
V23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
V24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
V25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
V26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

And the scriptures continue to show us how that God made all things new.  The old is passed away.  The Seed of Abraham, who is Jesus Christ, has obtained the salvation for all souls; all whom the Lord has called, and have birthed us forth by His Holy Spirit.

He fulfilled the old law and removed the first to establish the second: Hebrews 10:4-10
V4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
V5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
V6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had not pleasure.
V7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
V8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
V9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
V10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

A new Law and Covenant was formed to work within our members:  the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.  His Blood and Body fulfilled all the requirements of sin.  Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.  He arose from the dead and death could not hold him anymore.  This He did for us all.  He tasted death for all men.  In Him we now have Life Eternal.

Romans 8
V1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
V2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
V3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
V4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

V9…But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his…..

Those that have received the Son of God, Jesus Christ by faith, and have received the baptism and infilling of Holy Spirit which is the promise of the Father to seal you as His forever…. These are the children of God.

These are those that are the body of Christ Jesus, the church of the firstborn.

Romans 8:14-17
V14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
V15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
V16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
V17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together….. Hallelujah! Amen.

Built upon better promises, better priesthood, better sacrifice…the perfect Way.  Oh Hallelujah! Amen.

Hebrews 9:11-12 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Not of the old temple made by man’s hands according to the example God showed, but the real, true tabernacle that God has made by His Spirit.  For He has and is making us His holy tabernacle.

For Jesus Christ, the Lamb and His Blood have entered our own hearts, sanctifying us and justifying us in His Spirit who alone is righteous and worthy.

Hebrews 9:23-24 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;…….

Better Days of Better Blessings. CoHeirs. Continue to press in through the veil which is His flesh, and behold the Lord in His glory, for here is where you are changed into the same image.

Hebrews 10:19-22 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
And having an high priest over the house of God;
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Father!

Amen.
