Ezekiel 36:26-28 declares God’s heart for Israel and His protection for Israel from the heathen. God will sanctify them and make a covenant of peace with them as an everlasting covenant, will place Israel, and multiply them, and will set His sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
Here’s verses 27-28:
My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
Beautiful, isn’t it?! Such love of God to them. All through the old testament there is God’s word and dealings with the chosen people of God. Yet all through the old testament we see how they broke the covenant God had made with them. Then we see God restore them over and over again….and again. Such love.!
Then in all the prophets and psalms we take note as the Lord blesses and corrects the house of Israel.
Yet in the Seed which is Jesus of Nazareth who was all man and is all God, the promises of God are yes and amen. Jesus said “I make all things new.” What was He talking about?
A Better Thing…. A New Covenant upon better promises were coming forth… all through the work of the Father in and through His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ and Lamb of God. The work of God’s salvation for all souls is finished, complete … in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! Amen.
Hebrews 8:1-6 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man…..
Note: So a tabernacle in the heavenly realm having come down in the earth, yet it is a heavenly realm dominion. The Lord built it, not by an earthly means. By His Spirit is the Kingdom of God come in the earthen realm, yet in Spirit. (Romans 14:17)
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Hebrews 8:4-8
V4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law.
V5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shown to thee in the mount.
V6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Note: Not the old covenant or promises, but the Better Covenant and Better Promises. So why settle for less?
V7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
V8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Note: And so it is Done.
Now here is the new covenant noted in Hebrews 8:9-12
V9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
V10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
V11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
V12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
V13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Now this new Covenant is also for all whom the Lord has called…
Romans 9:23-26
V23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
V24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
V25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
V26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
And the scriptures continue to show us how that God made all things new. The old is passed away. The Seed of Abraham, who is Jesus Christ, has obtained the salvation for all souls; all whom the Lord has called, and have birthed us forth by His Holy Spirit.
He fulfilled the old law and removed the first to establish the second: Hebrews 10:4-10
V4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
V5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
V6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had not pleasure.
V7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
V8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
V9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
V10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
A new Law and Covenant was formed to work within our members: the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. His Blood and Body fulfilled all the requirements of sin. Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. He arose from the dead and death could not hold him anymore. This He did for us all. He tasted death for all men. In Him we now have Life Eternal.
Romans 8
V1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
V2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
V3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
V4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
V9…But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his…..
Those that have received the Son of God, Jesus Christ by faith, and have received the baptism and infilling of Holy Spirit which is the promise of the Father to seal you as His forever…. These are the children of God.
These are those that are the body of Christ Jesus, the church of the firstborn.
Romans 8:14-17
V14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
V15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
V16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
V17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together….. Hallelujah! Amen.
Built upon better promises, better priesthood, better sacrifice…the perfect Way. Oh Hallelujah! Amen.
Hebrews 9:11-12 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Not of the old temple made by man’s hands according to the example God showed, but the real, true tabernacle that God has made by His Spirit. For He has and is making us His holy tabernacle.
For Jesus Christ, the Lamb and His Blood have entered our own hearts, sanctifying us and justifying us in His Spirit who alone is righteous and worthy.
Hebrews 9:23-24 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;…….
Better Days of Better Blessings. CoHeirs. Continue to press in through the veil which is His flesh, and behold the Lord in His glory, for here is where you are changed into the same image.
Hebrews 10:19-22 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
And having an high priest over the house of God;
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Thank you Jesus! Thank you Father!
Amen.
