The Last Day is the First Day with the Resurrection

May your ears be opened and your eyes behold what the Holy Spirit is revealing. Amen.

The last day that was spoken of in the gospels and what Jesus spoke of was pertaining to that generation of time and age.  Let me show you what the Holy Spirit showed me:

John 11:22-27  (the conversation between Martha and Jesus over Lazarus)
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou will ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

This is what many say today…. “I will rise again.  At the end of time.”  Martha’s understanding was off.  But listen carefully and understand what Jesus said to her.

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Then Martha replied….
27 Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

The Resurrection had arrived. The last day had arrived.  There are many scriptures that show that the last day was then.  This is only one of those places in the new testament that reveals that the last day was back then.  It doesn’t mean that similar things are or are not going to happen in this age, but to understand what took place back then is important.

Martha was expecting Lazarus to rise in the resurrection at the last day in the future…. Jesus tells her, I am that resurrection...I the Resurrection has arrived… Today is the day.  And if you believe that Jesus is the resurrection and the life, you too can rise up out of your death and walk in His glory, today.

To those that have ears to hear and eyes to behold the Lord, rise up with the Lord Jesus, beholding Him and His Glory, and be changed.

2 Corinthians 3:16-18
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Romans 6:2-11 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

New Day in Christ Jesus.

Amen.
