You Died But Not Left Dead

Because of sin and the law you died, but not left dead in Christ Jesus.

If Christ lives in you the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

But if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwell in you, then He will quicken your mortal bodies so that you may walk as Jesus walked after He rose from the grave… in the Divine Nature that is without sin and death.

Jesus was and is the first fruit of the Spirit to walk in the earth without sin. He had gone before us, walking in the divine nature that was without corruption, so to pave the way for us to do the same.  Our propitiation…. the second man walking… to set the path for us to walk in the life that is more abundant (John 10:10).

Romans 8:9-11
v10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Now awakened in Christ Jesus …

Awakened by the Holy Spirit as He Quickens your mortal bodies.  By the renewing of your mind by the word of God that is Spirit and Life, you are circumcised in your heart and mind.  God’s transformation that frees you from the body of the sin of the flesh, and births forth the divine nature that is without sin.  Glory! Hallelujah!

Romans 6:6-8, 9-11, 12-14
v6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

You died, but now are made alive in Christ Jesus.  As the Holy Spirit opens your eyes of understanding of who Jesus Christ is, and you have an encounter … a revelation… a revealing of the Lord Jesus, and you behold Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, then a change in your self takes place.  You can’t help but be changed when in the Lord’s presence.

2 Corinthians 3:16-18 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit makes this happen and that is why we have the Comforter living within our innerman.  This is the manifestation of the first of our inheritance of God in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:13-14).

Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

So continue to allow the Holy Spirit to raise you up out of the dead, and establish you in His life and kingdom.

Romans 8:9-11 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Ephesians 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Quickened us together with Christ
Raised us up together
Made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus
In the Ages to come …. that’s us now…. HE will show us the exceeding riches of his grace in HIS KINDNESS toward us THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.

Thank you Abba Father!

Amen.
