Here’s how the Lord showed this…
In the book of Exodus and Leviticus are the old ordinances of God that have already been fulfilled in the Lamb of God who is His Son Jesus Christ. The leaven was not allowed in the blood sacrifices. Passover is a feast of unleavened bread which was to be eaten in a particular way as God ordered it to be done, as a memorial of the escape of His children out of Egypt. Today we eat of our Passover who is Jesus Christ the Lamb of God, and in whom we are protected and freed from our bondages.
Here’s Exodus 12:15, 17,19… Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread (these are a few of many scriptures showing God’s ordinances under His Old Laws)
v15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
v17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
v19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
This is strong but right for it is the LORD GOD speaking to His children in ordering their ways in righteousness. Yet it was a working of the flesh before God as well as heart/spirit of man. Grace existed and was applied to a few, but not fully activated for all until the manifestation of the True Lamb and sin fully destroyed and removed out of the way in Christ Jesus for all to receive forgiveness and health and much more goodness of God. But we THANK GOD FOR GIVING TO US HIS SON FOR OUR ETERNAL LAMB AND SANCTIFICATION OF THE FLESH AND SPIRIT. ONLY IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB CAN WE REST IN GOD’S PEACE AND LOVE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS LIFE.
So we now see in the New Testament that a little leaven leavens the whole. So what is this leaven?
Let’s look at Galatians 5:91 Corinthians 5:6-8 and …
Galatians 5:9 states …A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Here it is speaking of mixing the working of the flesh for righteousness verses the working of the Spirit of God in the soul and body.
Galatians 5:5-6 shows us … For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
1 Corinthians 5:6-8 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
This passage of scripture speaks clearly of what is meant by the leaven we are to oppose and not fornicate with. And what is the correct bread…. nourishment…. WORD to eat of.
Jesus said in John 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. And in John 6:35,37 … And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst….v37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Thank you Father God and Jesus! We have such a Victory in Christ Jesus always making us to triumph in Him forever.
If we love one another and worship the Father in Spirit and Truth then we can walk in sincerity together. Walking in the blessings, promises, and benefits of Jesus Christ as one body that is formed perfectly together and nourishing one another in the blood that provides to every member eternal life.
So now, let’s look Romans 14:17 which shows us what
and where the Kingdom of God is.
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
And in Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Here we understand and see that the kingdom of God is in the Holy Ghost. And if you have been sealed by the Holy Spirit and infilled with the Father’s Holy Spirit in your innerman, then the kingdom of God is come in you too. Once you have received the testimony of Jesus Christ and have asked Him to come into your heart to live as your Savior, then you can ask and receive the promise of the Father too, yet through the Son. Then the Holy Spirit of the Father and Son is come in you… as One Spirit….for they are One…and now the fullness of God in you and you in Him.
Now… that Holy Spirit in you is the same one that raised up Jesus from the dead and the grave. It is this same Holy Spirit in you, Now doing the same thing for you, yet you don’t have to be buried to live in the kingdom of God. Now is the day…. today if you hear HIS VOICE… ENTER IN TO HIS KINGDOM.
Kingdom of God is Righteousness and because of Jesus in you, you Now have His Righteousness working in you because He is the Lamb and Blood in you. Now you have forgiveness and healing and health and cure continuously working in you, having conquered sin and death and the devil, while manifesting His Life and Godliness in you. Because of His Divine Power in your spirit, your spirit is made alive by His Righteousness. Now your spirit and the Holy Spirit are become ONE Spirit because of His Righteousness in you and is producing His Life.
Now that your spirit is alive, and the Holy Spirit is in your innerman, He now washes your Soul and renews your mind by revealing Jesus Christ manifesting in you. This is the Word of God that is Spirit and Life who is quickening your mortal body too. So that now your Soul and Body are liberated from sin, sickness, disease, death, etc. Let your Faith work and believe and receive His Glory and be Free today.
This quickening in you is done, not by the old leaven but by the New Leaven that raises you Up in His Glory with Jesus now, even in the earth. This is the Holy Spirit working in you.
Romans 8:9-11 v11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
And take a look at Luke 13:20-21 which reveals the Kingdom of God as leaven. Luke 13:20-21 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? v21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
Do you feel like your “whole being” is being raised? And rightfully so. Here we see leaven in a good way. Revealed as the good leaven that will raise us up in spirit, soul, and body, by the Holy Spirit working in us as He did in Jesus.
So let this be your Happy Resurrection Day too! Blessings to you in Jesus Name.
